Dog Days of Summer Pet Drive

Its summer, the temperatures are increasing and so are the number of animals that need homes. That’s why Floor Trader is asking the community to help them help local animal shelters.
All you have to do is bring in pet supply donations such as pet food, cat litter, towels, and more to any Floor Trader location on the Coast throughout the month of July. The donations will go towards the Humane Society of South Mississippi and the Jackson County Animal Shelter.
Each person who donates to Floor Trader’s campaign will receive a discount on their next flooring purchase and a certificate valued at $50 towards the adoption of a new pet. Floor Trader Sales Manager Jamie Dunn said, “It’s a tough time with the summer, with the heat, and of course, all the rain that we’ve had lately. There’s a lot of pets in the shelters. There’s a lot of pets that get dropped off and have to find homes so we try to get as many donations as possible, try to alleviate some of that.”
