Reminders about off-road vehicles on public streets in Moss Point

MOSS POINT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Moss Point Police Department say it has noticed an increase in people driving off terrain bikes like dirt bikes and ATVs on public streets within the city limits.

Moss Point police say the activity is not only illegal, but it has also become a community safety concern as the department has received complaints about reckless driving.

MPPD says anyone found driving an off-road vehicle on public streets in the city could face traffic citations and fines, prosecution, and the seizures of the vehicle.
