Taste of Ocean Springs
The L & N Depot Plaza in downtown Ocean Springs smelled delicious tonight as men and women packed the place for the Taste of Ocean Springs.
The city’s chamber of commerce hosted its eighth annual Taste of Ocean Springs Food and Wine Festival. Men and women dressed in their black and white attire packed the plaza to taste dishes from nearly 40 restaurants from the area who were showing off their culinary skills.
Maine resident Bob Gray was in town and decided to stop by. He tells News 25 his favorite entrée was the crawfish. “Came down here to visit my daughter who is in the Air Force and she brought us over to this place and unbelievable. Everything is so good. The food, the wine, the beer, the moonshine is really good and all kinds of different foods. I wish we had something like this in Maine.”
Tickets were $50 at the door and music by Caution Swing Bridge played in the background.
