Introducing our WXXV Student Athlete of the Week, Christian Collegiate Academy Basketball’s Tahj Hill!

In the thick of district play, Christian Collegiate Academy basketball remains flawless in the region after taking down bowling green with a 70-33 final score. Their captain Tahj Hill believes they are successful on the hardwood because of their relationships with one another. The point guard, shooting guard combo had quite a night himself, recording a double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds.

When Hill moves on court, it’s evident that he’s been working years on his craft with over 22 points per game, 385 points 135 rebounds his senior season alone. He first picked up a basketball at five years old, but it wasn’t until he moved to CCA that he realized he could make a big impact on the hardwood, especially as the only senior.

The Bulldogs typically weren’t in the conversation when it came to good basketball on the coast, but Hill and his teammates take great pride in what the program is becoming. Hill could potentially make another headline this Friday night as he’s just four point away from 1,000 career points.
