Pascagoula names Zach Green their new Head Football Coach!

As Coach Green said, it’s time to wreck some havoc a little east! Pascagoula high school has officially named Zach Green their 34th new head football coach! The Pascagoula-Gautier school board approved Green’s hiring during Monday night’s meeting.

Previously serving as Gulfport’s defensive coordinator the past three seasons, Athletic Director John Archie stated, If you have a winning program and you want to keep the winning program it’s simple. Go get another winner,” and a winner is exactly who Green is. His defense was a major reason for the Admiral’s success and historic season ending in class 7A State Champions with the top defensive unit in the state.

In the press release, Green stated, “This is a special place with championship potential. I’m excited to build a program rooted in toughness, accountability, and relentless effort.”

Coach Green met with his team for the first time today, and you can meet him next week!

On Tuesday night, January 27th, the school board is holding a community meet and greet to welcome Coach Green from 5:15pm to 6:15pm at the Pascagoula Performing Arts Center lobby. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Congratulations Coach Green, and we’re looking forward to seeing all you’ll accomplish in red and blue!
