D’Iberville standout linebacker Caleb Triplett reflects on his senior season and post-season success!
After returning home from the Navy All-American Game, Sports Director Ansley Brent sits down with d’Iberville Linebacker Caleb Triplett to reflect on his recent success and what all it took for him to get to this exact moment.
Although an injury tried to hold him back, Triplett played the final six games of his senior year where he recorded 56 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss and one sack. That defensive domination led to him being a late addition to the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game where he’d later earn Most Valuable Player for Team Mississippi.
That was the first of two all star games for Triplett as he spent the week in Texas for the Navy All-American Game where the top 100 prospects met to connect and compete. During the fourth quarter of the game, Triplett announced that he’ll be staying close to home and joining the Southern Miss Football program.
