Standout D’Iberville linebacker Caleb Triplett announces commitment to Southern Miss

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WXXV) — One D’Iberville football standout has decided where he will be taking his talents at the collegiate level.

Linebacker Caleb Triplett has officially committed to continue his athletic and academic career with Southern Miss.

The Warriors defender made his announcement at the end of the Navy All-American Bowl on Saturday, choosing the Golden Eagles over North Texas. He finished his senior season with 56 total tackles and eight tackles-for-loss, and he was named the Team Mississippi MVP in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game in December.
