Pascagoula Basketball started the year on fire dominating Green County 70-28!

Speaking of hype, it’s the grand finale! The Pascagoula Panthers hosting the Greene County Wildcats to close out the Panther Classic. Grab your snacks and silence your cell phones because the show it about to start. Starting out hot is the senior Ireyion Harvey who drains not one but two threes back to back out the gate, showing he can do it anywhere on that court. A few plays later Evan Beck would steal it away and introducing himself in the best way possible is Jacob Griffin with a slamma jamma. The panthers would go almost the whole period without allowing a score and going up 25-nothing so it’s time the blue and red had some fun with it. Blake Nettles causes chaos on his defender, Tamir Boykin finds Harvey and sets up and Alley oop and Nettles slams it down to join the party.. But two isn’t enough for the Panthers, now it’s time for Adam Griffin to make himself known, two steps in the lane is all he’d need to dunk that thing and Pascagoula just can’t stop scoring. They went in at half up 55-9 and win it all with a final score of 70-28. What a way to start the new year if you’re a Panther!
