New Year’s Eve celebrations across the Coast
New Year’s Eve is fast approaching and cities will be celebrating all along the Gulf Coast.
The City of Long Beach will be ringing in 2026 with a ball drop. There will be live music and a block party happening on Jeff Davis Avenue. Music starts at 9 p.m. while the ball drop is at midnight.
Bay St. Louis will be hosting their Oyster Drop at 200 North Beach and features live music from the Chee Weez and Category Six.
The event is free. When the oyster drops at midnight, a fireworks show will light up the sky.
In Ocean Springs, celebrations are set to begin at 8 p.m. in the heart of downtown. Those who come out can expect live music, entertainment, and the community’s official countdown into 2026.
The Unfazed Experience starts performing at 8 while Saint Social takes the stage at 10.
The City of Pascagoula is alerting residents to a road closure ahead of their anchor drop. Crews will be working to set up in the area.
The Anchor Drop event starts at 8 with live entertainment, a light show will be on tap all evening and the anchor drops at midnight.
