Destroyer Ted Stevens delivered to U.S. Navy

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- Ingalls Shipbuilding has delivered Arleigh Burke Class guided missile destroyer Ted Stevens to the U.S. Navy.

It’s the second Flight 3 Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer the shipbuilders have delivered.

The future USS Ted Stevens represents the next generation of surface combatants for the U.S. Navy.

Currently, four more flight 3 destroyers are under fabrication and seven more are moving through early pre-planning stages of construction at Ingalls Shipbuilding.
