Harrison County Christmas tree recycling program begins Friday
As Christmas 2025 ends, Harrison County’s annual Christmas tree recycling program begins Friday, for those of you who get an early start in getting rid of your live Christmas trees.
Five drop-off locations will be available throughout the county from December 26 to January 10.
Only live trees are accepted at the drop-off sites, and all trees must be stripped of ornaments/decorations/lights.
Below are the places you can dispose of your trees.
- Pass Christian Harbor
- Long Beach Harbor (east side of the harbor
- Gulfport Courthouse Road Pier
- Biloxi beachfront at the intersection of Hwy 90 and Rodenburg Avenue.
- Mississippi Power Plant Watson
Each year, this recycling program is a partnership between Mississippi Power, Harrison County, the Harrison County Beautification Commission, and the Harrison County Utility Authority.
