12/19 – Last Chilly Night Before We Start Feeling The Heat
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast
Tonight stays clear and calm, with temperatures cooling down into the low 40s. Saturday we’ll see plenty of sunshine and highs near 68. Clouds slowly increase Saturday night, which will work to keep things milder with lows in the mid 50s.
A few spotty showers could pop up during the afternoon or early evening on Sunday, but not everyone will see the chance for rain. Even with the clouds around, temperatures stay comfortable, topping out near 70 ahead of a weak cold front.
Monday and Tuesday look great with lots of sunshine and highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, and yes, even Christmas Day is shaping up to be surprisingly warm. Expect partly sunny skies and highs closer to the low 70s, which is well above our normal Christmas high of around 62.
The warm pattern sticks around through the end of the week, keeping afternoons in the low 70s and nights fairly comfortable.
