Governor Reeves announces ‘Great Mississippi Nature Trail Initiative’
Governor Tate Reeves announced a new initiative aimed at connecting visitors to a statewide network of outdoor areas.
It’s called the ‘Great Mississippi Nature Trail Initiative.’ The trail highlights 20 sites where families, students, and tourists can experience the beauty and natural diversity of our state.
Some of the sites in our area include the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Davis Bayou Campground, Crosby Arboretum, and Black Creek National Wild and Scenic River.
