Harrah’s Job Fair

Harrah’s New Orleans hosted a job fair Tuesday at their sister property, Harrah’s Gulf Coast. The New Orleans casino is searching to hire new table games dealers and supervisors.
The demand for table games of all varieties remains strong in New Orleans which means the demand for dealers remains high as well.
Table Games Manager Terrence James said that applicants do not have to have experience in dealing, but they do need to make sure that they have great customer service skills. “We are looking for highly energetic people who understand customer service. Customer service is our pet peeve because we are in the customer service industry. So, we are looking for those highly motivated people who have that skill set being number one skill set. Everything else we can teach you, but we cannot teach you customer service. You have that ability coming in the door.”
They are looking for about 50 new dealers and supervisors. Applications are available anytime on Harrah’s website.
