Winners of Harrison County ‘I voted’ sticker contest revealed

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-A few students at North Woolmarket Elementary and Middle School were recognized Wednesday morning as the winners of Harrison County’s inaugural ‘I Voted’ sticker contest.

Helen Smith was the first-place winner. She will now have her artwork featured on Harrison County’s ‘I Voted’ sticker that will be handed out during the 2026 elections and she also received $50.

Second and third place winners were also recognized Wednesday morning.

Harrison County Election Commissioners and Circuit Clerk Justin Wetzel launched this program to get kids involved and excited to learn about voting and our election process.
