Scam alert for businesses and residents in Pascagoula

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pascagoula police are warning against a scam. A company called ‘Top Sports Production’ is using the police department’s name and logos.

The department saying they are not affiliated and has not given the company permission to use their name or logo.

Businesses and citizens have been contacted by the company, police saying they will never send an outside representative to ask for support or donations.

A criminal investigation into the matter has been opened.
