Gulfport celebrating state championship win with parade

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)-Gulfport High parents, students, and alum are still celebrating after the team’s thrilling last-second win over Tupelo Saturday night in the 7A state championship game in Starkville.

This year’s Gulfport team has truly made its mark and made the entire city shine and to celebrate, Gulfport is hosting a Champion’s Christmas Parade Monday afternoon.

This all kicks off at 4:30 in Downtown Gulfport. The parade will honor the Admirals and bring the community together in true Gulfport style, combining the spirit of the holidays with a big athletic celebration.
