It’s the most wonderful time of the year and all the fun holiday festivities are beginning to kick off across South Mississippi.

- The Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival runs from November 28 until December 23rd at Jones Park.
- On December 4, the city will be holding the Christmas Lighting of the Biloxi Lighthouse. Mayor Gilich will flip the switch from the Visitors Center porch and the festivities will take place inside the visitors center.
- The Gulf Coast Messiah chorus will present its Annual Christmas Concerts this weekend at the following locations: December 5th @ 7pm at St. Michael Catholic Church and December 6th @ 7pm at Burton Memorial Methodist Church. Both Concerts are FREE of charge.
- Starting December 5, Traintastic Presents Holiday Lights. That runs every Friday and Saturday beginning December 5 until December 27. For more information, click here.
- The 40th annual Christmas in the Pass takes place December 5. All the fun happens from 4 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Pass Christian.
- Stone County Christmas Courthouse Open House is taking place December 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the courthouse located at 323 E. Cavers Avenue.
- In D’Iberville, the city will have the Santa’s Workshop and Grinch movie showing at the D’Iberville Recreation Center. Santa’s Workshop begin at noon. The Grinch movie will air at 6:30 p.m.
- The Sea Santa Sail-A-Bration takes place in downtown Long Beach on December 7 beginning at 5:15.
- On December 7, in Pass Christian, Animal A.I.D. will be holding the Pass Christian Pet Pawrade. Registration begins at 1 p.m. and the pawrade will roll at 2 p.m.
- Christmas on the Water Parade is scheduled for December 7 at 6 p.m. The boat parade begins at the Biloxi Lighthouse and ends at Point Cadet Marina.
- The Phil Quigley Discover Christmas Parade will roll though Ocean Springs on December 7 beginning at 2 p.m.
- The Ocean Springs Christmas Tree Lighting will take place Tuesday, December 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mary C.
- Gautier’s Taste of the Holidays event will take place on Tuesday, December 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 2800 Highway 90.
- Christmas at Tradition will take place on Tuesday, December 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the William Carey Tradition Campus. They will be collecting knit caps, mittens, and socks for local shelters at the event.
- The Annual Second Saturday Santa Stroll is happening in Bay St. Louis from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on December 13.
- Also in Bay St. Louis on December 13 is the sixth annual Soulful Christmas event. That is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 100 Men Hall.
- On December 13, Biloxi Main Street will host Christmas in the City. That runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Downtown Biloxi.
- On Monday, Dec. 15, The City of Biloxi will hold the Christmas on the Water Children’s Parade at 6 p.m. with check-in at 5:15 p.m. on Reynoir Street at the Saenger Theatre. Those interested must complete the participation form and return it to the Parks & Recreation Department. The deadline to participate has been extended to Monday, Dec. 8.
- In Gautier, Lights and Lagniappe on the Bayou will combined with the Taste of Holidays event which will take place on December 9 beginning at 4 p.m.
- The Lighting of Town Green will begin around 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, with the main event taking place after the parade arrives at the Town Green.
- Breakfast with Santa is happening on December 20 at Traintastic. The fun runs from 9 a.m. to 10:30. Admission is $25 per person or $20 for members. Children two and under must purchase a ticket.
- Mistletoe and Main Street will take place December 20 in Downtown Gulfport from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- In Pascagoula, A LaPointe-Krebs Christmas takes place December 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the LaPointe-Krebs House. Admission is free.
