Turkey Shoot Nov. 22 Hosted by Murder Creek Sportsman Club

Opening day of deer season is Saturday, Nov. 22, and with the Thanksgiving holiday around the corner, a local sportsman club is hosting a turkey shoot.

The event is happening Saturday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Murder Creek Sportsman Club will hold the event at 93 S. Fore Road, McHenry, Mississippi.

Members and non-members of all ages are welcome. The event includes $10 meat rounds to win a turkey or ham. The $20 money rounds will result in payouts for the shooters who take first and second place. The turkey shoot includes a men’s round, women’s round and kids round.

There will also be a raffle for a .243 youth hunting rifle and a 9 mm handgun.
