Lizana Elementary students collect food donations

Lizana Elementary School wrapped up its annual Thanksgiving food drive this week.

Donations were accepted at the beginning of the month and the students did not disappoint.

The journey students worked hard collecting, packing, and sorting just under 1,600. Items collected include canned and boxed foods as well as plastic jar items.

These items will be distributed to those in need ahead of the holiday.
