Mississippi Lottery Corporation launches new app

The Mississippi Lottery Corporation has launched a brand-new app, giving players more access while on the go.

Nearly six years to the date since scratch off lottery tickets hit the shelves in the Magnolia State, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation has marked another milestone.

On Wednesday, the MLC announced the launch of the Mississippi Lottery official app. Players who use this app will be able to participate in second chance drawings, view jackpots, and winning numbers and find local retailers.

But one of the biggest components of the app is that it will allow users to scan winning tickets with their phones for the first time.

For convenience stores, the lottery is a major draw. The introduction of the new app does create some new challenges.

This app could help drive more business to retailers as residents find ways to test their luck.
