Warm, Humid, and a Little Foggy This Week

Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your extended forecast

Fog will be a daily theme through midweek, with patchy to dense fog developing late each night and lingering into the morning hours.

Tonight stays mostly cloudy with fog after 2 a.m., followed by a mostly cloudy Tuesday that turns sunny by afternoon with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Dense fog returns late Tuesday night and early Wednesday before clearing to a warm, mostly sunny day near 77.

More morning fog is expected Thursday before we see partly sunny skies in the afternoon and highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. Rain chances increase Thursday night and peak Friday with a 50% chance of showers and storms.

The weekend looks mostly pleasant—just a slight chance of a shower Saturday, highs near 79, then sunny and mid-70s Sunday. A spot shower is possible Monday with highs in the low 70s.

The temperature outlook for Thanksgiving week is also trending above average. There is some indication we may get a stronger cold front to move through by the end of the week, but it’s a little too far out to say that with absolute certainty.
