The Greyhound’s season comes to an end as Ocean Springs loses heart breaker to Brandon 13-10.

It’s the rematch of last year’s South State title as the Ocean Springs Greyhounds host the Brandon Bulldogs for the first round of class 7A playoffs. With the two seed, the Greyhounds earned to host and they’ve been working for 342 days to get their revenge.

The entire first half was a battle of the defenses and kickers as Brandon kicked two field goals and Greyhound Evan Ta made a fieldgoal from 22 yards out. Both teams swapped touchdowns in the third quarter as Sharroid Whitehead rushes 49 yards to the endzone.

Unfortunately that’d be the only offensive action and the Greyhounds fell short to the Bulldogs with a final score of 13-10. An absolute heart breaker for Ocean Springs and their talented senior class. They end the 2025 season with an impressive 9-2 overall record.
