11/9 – Cold Night; Below Freezing Temperatures Ahead

Temperatures tonight are falling into the mid to upper 30s across the area. Expect sunny, but windy conditions throughout Monday and Tuesday. A red flag warning will be in effect until Monday evening. Any outdoor burning is not recommended due to strong winds, low humidity, and dry ground conditions. 

Temperatures will drop below freezing heading into Tuesday morning. Freeze watches are in effect for a majority of South Mississippi until late Tuesday morning. These temperatures will quickly rebound by 20 to nearly 30 degrees with highs returning to the 70s on Wednesday. Sunny conditions should continue throughout the week.
