Memorial Health System performed first robotic bronchoscopy

A major milestone was reached at Memorial Health System on Tuesday.

Dr. Theresa Case successfully performed the very first bronchoscopy procedure.

With this, doctors can now reach smaller areas of the lungs with precision, helping find potential problems sooner while reducing risks and supporting faster recovery.

This expands access to life-saving diagnostics on the Coast without having to travel out of state.
