10/30 – Chilly Start to a Spooktacular Halloween
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your extended forecast
Tonight will be clear and dry, with lows dropping to the low 40s and even a few inland spots closer to the upper 30s.
Halloween morning brings sunshine and comfortable temperatures, with highs near 69 by the afternoon and calm winds. By the evening, as you’re getting ready to head out trick-or-treating, temperatures will drop steadily into the upper 50s by around 9 pm, and eventually the mid to upper 40s overnight. If you’re planning to stay out late into the witching hour, you might want to grab a light jacket.
The nice weather sticks around into the weekend, with sunshine and highs in the low 70s on Saturday. A few clouds move in late Saturday night, and there’s a slight chance of a few passing showers by Sunday morning, but it won’t be a washout.
Sunday through the middle of next week looks great — plenty of sun, cool mornings, and pleasant afternoons in the upper 60s to mid-70s.
