Stone County Sheriff’s Department warning of scam

STONE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Stone County Sheriff’s Department is warning the public about a scam going around.

Residents are being contacted with money requests.

The sheriff’s office will never contact someone over the phone requesting money be sent to the department.
