Hancock holds on for one-point win, takes down district foe Gautier 28-27

GAUTIER, Miss. (WXXV) — A big 6A showdown unfolded on the gridiron between Hancock and Gautier in Week 9, and in the end, the Hawks would soar to a 28-27 victory.

The teams traded touchdowns early in the matchup, with Hancock adding a score with just over one minute remaining in the first half to take a 21-14 lead.

Up next, Gautier hosts Picayune, and Hancock will welcome Pascagoula. Both games are set to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31st.
