Harrison County honors veterans lost to suicide

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Although September is recognized as Veterans Suicide Awareness Month, Harrison County continued the mission of remembrance and awareness by honoring veterans lost to suicide.

The tribute stands as a reminder of the countless sacrifices our veterans have already made.

A flag draped coffin was displayed, along with boots filled with American flags, inside the Biloxi High School sports arena where county officials and community leaders joined together for four hours.
