St. Martin picks up first district win in 28-24 shootout with Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV) — St. Martin picked up its first district win and improved to 5-1 on the season with a 28-24 shootout win over Biloxi in Week 6 gridiron action.

The Indians held a 17-14 lead coming out of halftime, and the two teams traded drives through the rest of the game. The Yellow Jackets never backed down from the fight and continue to show that they’re one of the top teams on the Coast.

Up next, St. Martin will hit the road to take on Gulfport, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. on October 10th. Meanwhile, Biloxi has a bye week.
