Gulfport Admirals open district play with victory, take down undefeated Ocean Springs Greyhounds 41-28

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV) — The Gulfport Admirals started their first district game of the season on fire, and kept up a dominant showing to take down the previously undefeated Ocean Springs Greyhounds by a score of 41-28.

Running back Cooper Crosby dominated from the start, punching in a short touchdown early in the contest. The Admirals also blocked a punt that was returned for a touchdown to quickly take a 13-0 lead.

Up next, Gulfport will host the St. Martin Yellow Jackets, and Ocean Springs will travel to take on the undefeated D’Iberville Warriors. Kickoff for both games is set for 7 p.m. on October 10th.
