Burglary of a residence

Gulfport police officers credit concerned neighbors in the area of 45th Street near Harrison Avenue for alerting authorities after spotting suspicious activity.
Thirty-three year-old William Herold was arrested on the charge of burglary of a residence.
Neighbors called police after seeing the Gulfport resident walking around a home with a flashlight around 11 last night. During an investigation, officers located a broken door to the home plus several items missing. Herold’s vehicle was also stuck in the victim’s yard. Those items were found inside Herold’s car.
He is being held on a $35,000 bond.
