18-year-old arrested, charged in drive-by shooting in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Gulfport police arrested 18-year-old Henry Fomunyam on a charge of drive-by shooting.

The arrest stems from an incident that happened on September 26 afternoon. Officers responded to Trailwood Drive and Cypress Court in reference to reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a vehicle that had been struck by a bullet. Following an investigation, detectives identified Fomunyam as the suspect.

Fomunyam was taken into custody and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
