New pipeline training prop at Mississippi State Fire Academy

JACKSON, Miss. (WXXV)- In Jackson, the state fire academy and ExxonMobil unveiled a new C02 pipeline training prop.

Last week, they held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially unveil the specialized training prop.

The new prop would not have been possible without the EMPCO’s $50,000 ‘Good Neighbor Grant’ and equipment donation.

The prop is strategically located in the heart of Mississippi, making specialized training more accessible for Mississippi’s firefighters and first responders providing them with hands-on training for C02 pipeline emergencies.

With the addition to the Mississippi State Fire Academy, it further strengthens its role as a national leader in fire service training and emergency response preparedness.
