Authorities searching for suspects accused of shooting into a dwelling

Gulfport police need help locating suspects in a drive-by shooting.
Around 2 a.m., the police department responded to Whitney Drive and Cal Lane for a shooting into an occupied dwelling which struck multiple homes.
The on scene investigation revealed that unknown suspects discharged a firearm multiple times striking multiple occupied residences. The residents of the homes were not injured during the incident.
Detectives do have a person of interest in the case who is wanted for questioning. At this time the incident does not appear to be connected to the incident that took place near Lavell and Mary Drive on June 21st around 10:00 p.m.
