9/17 – Warm and Dry Pattern Continues, But Changes are Possible Next Week
Meteorologist Sam Lucey has a look at your forecast
The stretch of warm, sunny days and comfortable nights continues through the rest of the week.
Highs will stay right around 90 from Thursday through the weekend, and overnight lows will dip into the upper 60s to near 70. If you have outdoor plans, the weekend looks great—plenty of sunshine with just a touch of heat on Saturday.
As we move into next week, the sunshine sticks around, but we’ll start to see a few changes. A slight chance for afternoon showers and storms shows up on Monday and lingers through midweek. Some models runs are hinting at a bit more rain to finish out next week, so we’ll keep an eye on that and cross our fingers as we are definitely needing rain. We’re currently sitting around 2-4″ inches below average in terms of rainfall for the last 30 days.
