Mississippi National Guard celebrates Coast native’s retirement

The Mississippi National Guard announced the retirement of one of their own.
Brigadier General Michael Dykes had a retirement party on September 6. He was the commander of the 155th Armored Bridge Combat team until April of this year.
Brigadier General Dykes’ ceremony was hosted at the Mississippi Armed Forces Retirement Museum.
He has over 18 years of active and reserve military service.
In civilian life, he serves as the assistant district attorney for Jackson, George, and Greene counties.
