Narcotics arrest at safety checkpoint in Pearl River County

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department shared an arrest was made at a safety checkpoint on September 9.

At the checkpoint, deputies found Bryan Davis driving with a suspended driver’s license. A lawful search of the car was conducted, deputies found marijuana and meth, his car was impounded and Davis was taken into custody without incident.

He was brought to the Pearl River County Correctional Facility and was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a marijuana in a car.
