State officials react to Charlie Kirk’s death

Mississippi State leaders are reacting to the death of Charlie Kirk.

The Mississippi Republican Party released a statement saying Kirk was a “once in a generation leader” and that party members are “grief stricken over his loss.”

In addition, Governor Tate Reeves, Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, both of Mississippi’s U.S. senators, and all four members of Mississippi’s House delegation have released statements mourning the loss of Kirk and condemning acts of political violence.
