Changes to train depot in Pascagoula

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Pascagoula has announced changes to their train depot.

Chandeleur Island Brewery and a new restaurant are set to come to the site.

The city itself is also investing in projects that will improve the area, expecting to create a better experience for residents and Amtrak visitors.

A new courtyard is taking shape between Comus Street and St. Ferol Street on Railroad Avenue.

Improved parking and drainage, landscaping, and stamped concrete will create the entry to the city.

Additional parking is also being added along Railroad Avenue for passengers and visitors to the depot.

A new greenspace is also planned for Delmas Avenue to accommodate future community events.
