Lighthouse Park on Cypress Ave. in Pascagoula was named for the historical Round Island Lighthouse
Lighthouse Park, managed by the City of Pascagoula is a beautiful park that celebrates the natural beauty of the area, with the Round Island Lighthouse historical landmark, one of the oldest oak trees in Mississippi, a jogging/walking trail, covered entertainment area with seating (under the overpass), and a municipal boat launch, with two ramps. It also features a fishing pier, pavilion with a fish cleaning station, playground equipment, two pickleball courts, an outdoor classroom and stage, gazebo, and the Pascagoula River Environmental Trail. Lighthouse Park serves as the trailhead of the Historic Pascagoula Bike Trail, Pascagoula River Jackson County Blueway, and the Pascagoula Historic Pathway.
