Golfers come out for Ricky Peden Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting Make-A-Wish
HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The 18th annual Ricky Peden Memorial Golf Tournament honors the legacy of Ricky Peden, a beloved community member whose passion for helping children with life-threatening medical conditions continues to inspire.
With the support of local businesses, golfers, and donors, the event aimed to surpass previous years’ fundraising totals and makes an even greater impact for children in the region.
Since its beginning, the tournament has been a pivotal event in raising awareness and funds for Make-A-Wish. In previous years, the tournament has attracted nearly 200 participants.
The event promised a day of fun and brought together golf enthusiasts and supporters from all across the Gulf Coast.
All funds raised will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mississippi, helping to grant wishes for children battling critical illnesses in Mississippi.
