All clear given at D’Iberville High School following a call-in threat

D’IBERVILLE, Miss. (WXXV)-On Thursday, D’Iberville High School went into a precautionary lockdown following a call-in threat to the school and local authorities.

School administration, staff, and law enforcement immediately responded, and after a thorough investigation, the school was given the all clear.

At this time, school operations have returned to normal. All students and staff are safe.

D’Iberville High Principal Cheryl Broadus said in a statement: “We want to thank our local and state law enforcement partners for their swift and professional response, as well as our staff and students for following safety protocols calmly and effectively. As always, the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. We will continue to work closely with law enforcement to ensure a secure learning environment for all.”
