USM Gulf Park Campus to offer secondary education degree

LONG BEACH, Miss.  (WXXV)- The Southern Miss Gulf Park campus will soon offer a bachelor’s degree in secondary education for students.

University leaders say it is a flexible, hybrid program that balances coursework with field placement opportunities at local schools.

There are also scholarship opportunities for students as part of the Coastal Pathways Scholarship.
