The Shed BBQ holding 13th annual Pulled Pork Sandwich Labor Day Giveaway
JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Every year, the Shed BBQ and Blues Joint celebrates Labor Day with the community by giving away free pulled pork sandwiches.
For the past 13 years, every guest who has stopped by The Shed on Labor Day has received a free sandwich.
This Labor Day, The Shed will be giving away their 10,500th free sandwich since the tradition began.
“Labor Day was created to honor the contributions of America’s working men and women,” said The Shed’s co-founders. “If you have a job, if you’re retired, if you’re between jobs, or looking for your very first job—come join us at The Shed and let’s celebrate the day together.”
The giveaway starts at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 1 and goes until they sell out. The sandwiches are one per person and for dine-in customers only.
