Welcome to War Memorial Park on Church Ave. in Long Beach where thoughtful design and lots of shady oaks make this inclusion park a safe space for everyone.

War Memorial Park is managed by the City of Long Beach and frequently confused for War Memorial Park in Pass Christian. This park is quite large and offers many activities for children of various ages.  With numerous playsets, swings, benches, new restroom, and open green space, this park is a great way to spend time outdoors.  The park has been recently upgraded and offers a play area that has been designed for children and adults with special needs, along with expression swings available to parents with infants and toddlers to interact and swing together.  This park is home to one of the few wheelchair-accessible swings on the MS Gulf Coast. There are beautiful trees offering lots of shade and ample parking in front of the park.
