West Gulfport Civic Club holds community forum on combating crime

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The West Gulfport Civic Club partnered with Gulfport Police and Fire Department for a ‘Night out against Crime.’

The event hosted a forum for community members to discuss how to combat crime in their area.

Speakers included council members and State Representative Jeffrey Hullum. Gulfport Mayor Hugh Keating was also in attendance.

One prominent member of the West Gulfport Civic Club says combating crime will take influencing the youth to make better life choices.
