UPDATE: George County man charged in death of father

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- A George County man is now charged in the death of his father.

Thirty-four-year-old Michael Williams was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with manslaughter and tampering with physical evidence.

The incident happened just after 5:30 Wednesday morning on Finch Road.

Fifty-nine-year-old David Williams has been identified as the victim.

Michael Williams is now awaiting his initial appearance before a judge in George County Justice Court.
