8/7 – Sam Lucey’s “Clearer and Drier” Thursday Evening Forecast

We’ve got a quiet evening ahead with just a small chance for a shower or storm before 8 o’clock. Otherwise, skies clear out and we’ll drop to around 74 overnight. Friday looks mostly sunny with highs near 91, but a few pop-up storms could develop late in the day. Friday night stays mostly clear, with just a slim chance of an early evening shower.

Saturday brings a better chance of storms, mainly after lunchtime, with highs around 90. That storm pattern continues into Sunday and early next week—expect a mix of sun and clouds each day, highs near 89 to 91, and scattered afternoon showers and storms. Nights will be warm and muggy, with lows in the mid-70s.
