7/30 – Sam Lucey’s “Humid with a Stray Shower” Wednesday Evening Forecast
We have a few showers and storms possible overnight, but skies will stay mostly clear with lows around 78. Thursday will be hot and sunny, with heat index values pushing up to 109. Storms are likely late in the day and into the night.
That stormy pattern sticks around through the weekend. Friday through Sunday brings daily chances of afternoon thunderstorms, with highs in the low to mid-90s and overnight lows in the mid to upper 70s. Most of the activity will pop up after lunchtime each day, typical summertime weather.
Heading into early next week, rain chances stay elevated, especially in the afternoons, with highs near 90.
